Study Nº1:
Death and Life

Study Nº1: Death and Life points out urgent issues from contemporaneity, such as human migration; the relation between people and the land, death and political power; neoliberal precariousness and uberization of work.

Based on the dramatic poem “Morte e Vida Severina”, by João Cabral de Melo Neto, Magiluth Group proposes a scenographic study about what it means to be migrant and the reasons to leave its origins. From this premise, the hybrid and restless look of the Brazilian group turns to the migratory movements generated by climatic, political and social issues, seeking to cover its particularities and the global panorama.
