Choreographer, experience designer, performing arts professional, Bachelor of Tourism and founder of moving borders and CAMP_iN / scenic encounter in Mexico.

He is originally from San Pedro Tlaltizapan, State of Mexico. He studied dance at the Folkwang Hochschule in Germany, at the I.N.B.A / Choreographic Research Center (C.I.CO) and graduated in Tourism at the National Polytechnic Institute (I.P.N.).

He began his professional career as a folk dancer with the National Folk Dance Company of the I.N.B.A. in 1993; with which he participated in national and international festivals. During 6 years of work with this company he obtained solo roles.

His choreographic proposal has achieved National and International recognition: First place and audience prize at the 9th International Choreography Competition “No Ballet” in Germany 2014; first place in the INBA-UAM Prize for Contemporary Choreographic Creation Contest in Mexico 2010-2011; First place at the International Internet Dance Festival “SideBySide-Net” in Germany 2007 and Second place at the International Contemporary Choreography Competition “Humarts Foundation” in Bulgaria 2007. His works have been presented at festivals in Germany, Bulgaria, Belarus, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Costa Rica, Spain, the United States, Italy, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Poland, Mexico, among others.

His projects are characterized by promoting creative scenic processes in collaboration with those disciplines that can collaborate in interdisciplinary construction, based on a commitment to the socio-cultural context.

He currently collaborates as a consultant for the design and programming of festivals, likewise he continues his work as a promoter of Mexican folkloric dance abroad.

Since 2020 he has been a beneficiary of the National System of Art Creators Program 2020-2023 of FONCA (System of support for creation and cultural projects).
